Director / Writer

Alexandra Adomaitis is a director and writer who began her career as a trained classical dancer before an injury sidelined those ambitions and she shifted her focus to acting. Alexandra graduated from the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York City, and also studied in Oxford, UK at the British American Drama Academy with tutors that included Jeremy Irons, Alan Rickman, Mark Wing-Davies, and Fiona Shaw.

Frustrated with the lack of equality in the industry, Alexandra eventually began creating her own content. Alexandra has directed such talent as Carolyn Hennesy (True BloodCougarTown, General Hospital) and Phil LaMarr (Family GuySamurai Jack, Pulp Fiction) in 2017’s Diamond Dayze, as well as Osric Chau (Supernatural, The Flash) in S41NT. In her most recent film, Finding Esther, Alexandra artfully guided the performances of actors such as Georgia Slowe (Emmerdale, Agatha Raisin) and Adam El Hagar (Peaky Blinders, Catherine the Great, Final Fantasy XVI).

Alexandra’s films have been included in film festivals and competitions around the world including Toronto International Women Film Festival, New York International Women Festival, Cinequest Film & VR Festival, and Women Making a Scene.

Alexandra currently lives in London, where she earned a master’s degree in directing from MetFilm School and is actively preparing several forthcoming feature films. Earlier this year, she established Steamcraft Ltd, a London-based production company dedicated to delivering top-tier content to the screen.
